WABI-TV Presents Wind Blade Challenge
WABI (channel 5) covered the University of Maine’s seventh annual Wind Blade Challenge, at which 40-plus teams designed a set of wind blades from three blocks of foam and a sheet of fiberglass. The goal was to generate the most energy in three minutes or less. Team members also prepared a presentation about their respective designs and engineering process.
