End of UMaine’s Employee Assistance Program Reported in BDN

The Bangor Daily News reported the University of Maine announced it will eliminate the Employee Assistance Program (EAP), which provides counseling services to UMaine faculty, staff, retirees and their family members. UMaine will save $250,000 by ending the program, said Margaret Nagle, UMaine’s senior director of public relations and operations.
