Media Advance Green Crab Summit at UMaine

The Associated Press previewed the Dec. 16 Maine Green Crab Summit at the University of Maine. Maine officials, researches and fisherman are expected to discuss the invasive European green crab and the effects it has on the state’s coastal and marine resources. Maine Sea Grant, Maine Department of Marine Resources (DMR), Maine Coastal Program and the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) are organizing the event.
