The first exhibit in a series illustrating the evolution of the University of Maine is currently on display in the Oakes Room at Fogler Library. “Campus Views, 1873–1899,” uses photographs from the library archives to follow the building of the campus and the UMaine community. Photo captions provide additional insight into life on campus during the early years of the institution. The exhibit was designed by Jerry Lund, circulation manager at Fogler, and Gretchen Gfeller, public relations manager of the library. The exhibit will be on display through November.
