The Portland Press Herald posted a blog entry about the successful University of Maine student turnout for Tuesday’s elections. Dean of Students Robert Dana was quoted as saying the turnout of almost half of the more the 3,000 students living on campus was tremendous and a result of a hearty get-out-the-vote effort on campus.
