UMaine was noted in an article in the Kennebec Journal about Maine colleges and universities awaiting a U.S. Supreme Court decision on whether admissions offices may or may not use race or ethnicity in student enrollment decisions. University of Maine is among those whose admissions offices do not consider race and ethnicity in enrollment.
