The St. John Valley Times in Aroostook County carried an article about a $249,600 U.S. Department of Agriculture grant awarded to the University of Maine for potato research at the university’s Aroostook Research Farm in Presque Isle and in Orono. Researchers are looking to improve potato breeding and continue variety development.
