In a Bangor Daily News article, University of Maine Athletic Director Steve Abbott discussed proposed renovation plans for Memorial Gym and the UMaine Field House, a project that is turning out to be more expensive than planned. Abbott said the project might have to be scaled back, although a decision on how to proceed won’t be made until the end of December.
