Channel 2 (WLBZ) Saturday interviewed UMaine baseball coach Steve Trimper about a “Badges for Baseball” event cosponsored with area law enforcement agencies, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and UMaine coaches, student-athletes and staff to teach area youth about the fundamentals of baseball along with life skills, leadership and discipline.
