USA Today Article Cites UMaine Hazing Research

A USA Today College article about another hazing incident at Florida A&M University, where a student died in 2011 as a result of hazing, cited the findings of groundbreaking research on hazing by UMaine College of Education and Human Development professors Elizabeth Allan and Mary Madden. In a national study on the frequency of hazing, Allan and Madden found that 55 percent of college students involved in clubs, teams and organizations had experienced hazing.
