In a Portland Press Herald interview, Portland-based singer-songwriter and UMaine graduate Sara Hallie Richardson credited her experimentation with electronic music to an independent study program arranged with help from UMaine music professor Beth Wiemann, who is the chair of the School of Performing Arts’ Division of Music. Richardson will perform a CD release concert with her band Friday in Portland.
