Website Notes Wind Test Chamber News
The Virtual Strategy Magazine website posted a news release from Hastest Solutions, Inc., a California company that designs and manufactures wind test chambers, which noted the company had designed, assembled and installed a three-story environmental wind turbine test chamber in UMaine’s Offshore Wind Laboratory. The release included a comment from Habib Dagher, UMaine engineering professor and the director of the Advanced Structures and Composites Center, which houses the wind laboratory, who said the test chamber will provide UMaine with the ability to test components of offshore structures under more realistic conditions.
