Food Science Professor Discusses Agriculture, Conservation Merger

In a Bangor Daily News article about the merger of Maine’s Agriculture and Conservation departments, UMaine professor of food science and nutrition Mary Ellen Camire commented that there may trial-and-error in the merger at first, followed by another reorganization. She also said she hopes food safety isn’t overshadowed as a priority in a larger department.
