Health Website Carries UMaine ‘Brooding’ News Release

The health website MedicalXpress posted a University of Maine news release about new research from the Department of Psychology establishing that immediate distraction after an event that triggers sad feelings can help a person with problem-solving skills, whereas excessive rumination about the event is linked to depression and diminished problem-solving capacity.
