Hough Interviewed for Domestic Violence Perspective Article

An article in the Waterville Morning Sentinel about how public consciousness of domestic violence has changed in the last four decades included comments from Mazie Hough, associate director of women’s studies at the University of Maine. Hough said what started in the 1970s as a grassroots feminist movement to establish domestic violence projects and influence policy change statewide has become significantly mainstreamed today.
