The Bangor Daily News carried an article about objections from Bangor Gas Co. to a proposal to pipe methane gas from the Juniper Ridge Landfill to the UMaine campus to create energy and heat for buildings. Channel 2 (WLBZ) also reported on the hearing in Hallowell before the Maine Public Utilities Commission, which will decide whether to allow the project.
