Coverage of Hope Festival
The Earth, the environment and grassroots efforts to effect positive change was the theme of Saturday’s Hope Festival held at UMaine’s New Balance Student Recreation Center. The event was covered by Bangor television station WABI and the Bangor Daily News.
It was organized by the Peace and Justice Center of Eastern Maine and University of Maine Peace & Reconciliation Studies, Women’s Studies and Women in the Curriculum, and the Maine Peace Action Committee of the University of Maine.
