Blue Sky Listening Sessions Today

The next in a series of one-hour information-gathering sessions President Ferguson has organized over the next few weeks to solicit input for UMaine’s strategic plan will take place will take place today, Feb. 13, from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. in the
McIntire Room of Buchanan Alumni House. The subject area is Infrastructure.  In addition, a session focusing on Graduate Studies will be held today from 2-3 p.m. in the McIntire Room. Participants are encouraged but not required to bring a written summary of their idea (one page or less) or submit it online at http://umaine.edu/blueskyplan.

In preparing a summary, participants are encouraged to answer any or all of the following questions:
What do you see as a key area of distinction at UMaine?
What do you see as an opportunity or challenge that UMaine faces?
What solution do you propose?
How will this solution enable UMaine to achieve a new vision of institutional excellence and realize its position as a leading 21st century Land and Sea Grant University?
How would you assess whether this solution is successful?
