Taylor Comments in Story on Wave of Municipal Fraud
Tom Taylor, the chair of UMaine’s department of public administration, commented in a story on the Bangor Daily News website about the recent wave of fraud by municipal officers and town officials. Taylor said he would like to see increased professionalism, including the hiring of town or city managers to work on finances and other local matters under the scrutiny of a council or select board.
