Op-Ed on Households and Federal Tax
Gloria Vollmers, a UMaine accounting professor, has an op-ed in the Bangor Daily News about the kinds of American households that are not paying federal taxes. Vollmers argues that a large part of those that are not paying include the working poor, families and the elderly, and those groups should not be condemned for their low incomes.
