McConnon Comments in Population Growth Article
Jim McConnon, UMaine Cooperative Extension specialist and professor of economics, was interviewed for a recent article in the Bangor Daily News about the substantial population growth in communities surrounding Bangor. Citing multiplier effects, McConnon says the population increase has coincided with an increase in the number of jobs and economic opportunity in and around Bangor over the past decade.
