Saturday’s Bangor Daily News included a story about a Friday visit to UMaine by 200 area fifth graders as part of the “Black Bears of Tomorrow” program organized by Black Bear Sports Properties. The youngsters toured facilities and interacted with coaches Steve Trimper (baseball), Jack Cosgrove (football), Ted Woodward (basketball), Bob Corkum (hockey) and others including band director Chris White, student-athletes and faculty members.
