UMaine graduate Brent Littlefield, a Republican strategist and commentator, drew a historical reference to his alma mater during a recent interview on MSNBC’s Dylan Ratigan Show.  That interview was conducted at the Hoover Dam, which Littlefield noted was built under the engineering guidance of 1905 UMaine graduate Francis Crowe.  Littlefield’s reference to Crowe comes two minutes into the interview.
