Tuesday’s Bangor Daily News reports on plans for a Thursday Aroostook County motorcade and funeral, honoring and remembering Marine Lt. James Zimmerman, who was killed last week while serving in Afghanistan.  Zimmerman was a 2008 UMaine graduate, commissioned as a Marine officer upon completion of UMaine’s Navy ROTC program.  The motorcade will begin in Smyrna, traveling to Houlton where an 11 a.m. funeral will be held at the high school.
