UMaine Safe Campus Project
This link will take you to the home page for the the University of Maine’s Safe Campus Project. This project works with organizations throughout the university in order to promote a safe community for everyone. According to their website, they strive to reduce sexual assault, dating violence, and stalking by encouraging healthy and consensual relationships. They offer many good services free of charge, and although their mission is not religious, we think they’re worthy of a mention here on our links page. Check them out!
Creighton Collaborative Ministries
Follow this link to obtain access to Creighton University’s online Collaborative Ministry page. The page includes Daily Reflections, an Online Retreat, weekly liturgy guides, and an extensive collection of spirituality links. It also provides links to more topical matters, such as prayers for peace, stations of the cross, material for the anniversaries of Bishop Romero’s death, and the slaughter of the Jesuits in El Salvador. This site is definitely worth a look!
A site developed by the Paulists, with a tagline of “Everyday faith for everyday people.” Content is targeted towards Catholics in their 20s and 30s, and includes such features as forums, a Bible “boot camp”, and plenty of columns on current world issues. A trivia game is currently under construction and promises to be fun when completed! Check back frequently, as the site is updated on a regular basis.
Take a virtual tour through the many Vatican Museums. Visit St. Peter’s, the Apostolic Library, Gallery of Tapestries, Gallery of Paintings, Christian Museums, Museums of Sculpture, Gregorian Museums, and others.
