Student Organizations
The Student Heritage Alliance Council (SHAC) is an umbrella group under which all other groups advised by the OMP fall. SHAC represents these groups in the Student Government and helps them to secure funding for their programs and events from on-campus sources.

The OMP advises student organizations that are a major source of support for students from ethnically diverse backgrounds. Students of color are encouraged to join and even run for leadership positions in the following groups:

- Asian Student Association (ASA) -Meeting time: Thursday 6:00pm at the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs
- African Student Association (AFSA) -Meeting time: Monday 12:15pm at the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs
- Black Student Union (BSU) -Meeting time: Wednesday 7:00pm at the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs
- Sisters Supporting Sisters (SSS)
- Latin American Student Organization (LASO) -Meeting time: Wednesday 5:00pm at the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs
- Native People’s Alliance (NPA)
- Saudi Arabian Student Organization (SASO)
- Capoeira Club
- Japanese Language Club
- Muslim Students Association(MSA)
