MLC 190: Selling Your Soul to the Devil: The Faust Theme in Western Literature, Film, Art and Music

This course investigates the many interpretations of the Faust theme in Western literature, art, music and film. We will use the lens of literary interpretation, cultural studies, mythological and psychoanalytical perspectives, philosophy and ethics in this multidisciplinary course. 3 credits.
