Dr. Kügel is a German biologist who has shared his expertise throughout a variety of countries around the globe including China, Macedonia, USA (Oregon State University), and Canada (Vancouver, BC & St. Andrews, N.B.). His frequent visits to Passamaquoddy territory have encouraged his interest in the river restoration of both the St. Croix and Penobscot Rivers.
