Zachariah Belding

Zac has worked at the Advanced Manufacturing Center (AMC) since 2009. At the AMC, Zac has become familiar with the many steps required to go from an idea in 3D model form to a completed, functional component. Zac also worked at Dearborn Precision Tubular in the summers of 2008 and 2009. Here, he worked in the CNC milling department on tight-tolerance aircraft and oil industry parts. Zac enjoys machining as an occupation and as a hobby.

Bernard Bishop

Bernie has worked at Howard Tool Co. in Bangor, Maine for the past three years. He works with state of the art CNC equipment manufacturing parts for the aircraft and the defense industry. Working in industry, Bernie is responsible for developing manufacturing process as well as programming and setup of CNC machines including lathe , mill and mill-turn applications. Outside of school and work he enjoys powersports and clay target shooting.

Craig Daigle

Through out high school Craig was involved in many sports and worked at Daigle Sport Center for his father doing mechanic work, parts ordering and product sales.  After graduating spring of 2007 from Madawaska High School, Craig continued his education at the University of Maine in the M.E.T. department.  During the summers between school, Craig works for the maintenance department at Acadia National Park, and he is also the head scooter mechanic at Acadia Bike and Coastal Kayaking.  Outside of school he enjoys taking advantage of what the St. John Valley has to offer, snowmobiling, hunting and fishing.

Adam Duguay

Adam has experience working at IDEXX Laboratories in Westbrook Maine. While there, he participated in a number of R&D design projects that required creative and innovative thinking to ensure effective product performance and ease of manufacturability. These designs primarily utilized the power of 3D CAD in SolidWorks. As of January 2011 he is one of only seven Certified SolidWorks Professionals in the state of Maine. Outside of academia he enjoys Maine’s great outdoors with a number of recreational activities including cycling, hiking, and fishing.

Wade Jandreau

After graduating from Hampden Academy in 2006, Wade  joined the Air National Guard. After returning from military training, he entered the M.E.T. program at the University of Maine in the fall of 2007.  Wade is currently a Staff Sergeant in Maine Air National Guard where he works as an inspection docks crew chief on the Kc-135R Stratotanker. He spends his summers working at the base on the Kc-135 and last year was deployed to Incirlik Air Force base in Turkey during the second semester. Wade planes to graduate this summer and hopes to obtain Mechanical Engineering job working for a military defense contractor.
