Biomedical Engineering Laboratory - Biomedical Engineering/Robotic Surgery Laboratory
The Biomedical Engineering Lab at University of Maine conducts research in Smart Materials, Mechatronics, Biomimetics, Intelligent Robotics and Surgical Robotic Systems. Founded in 2008 by Dr. Mohsen Shahinpoor, it is a unique environment for graduate and undergraduate education and to conduct research on robotic and artificial devices for biomedical applications.
