Joined General Electric Company in Lynn, MA in 1953. Entire working career with GE Aircraft Engines, involved in the design, development, manufacture, and product support of military and commercial aircraft engines. Named General Manager of the Lynn Engineering Operation in 1975 and General Manager of GE Aircraft Engine Engineering Division in 1979. Elected a Vice President of the General Electric Company in 1980. Served seven years as VP & GM of the GE Aircraft Engine Engineering Division and four years as VP & GM of the GE Aircraft Engine Lynn Production Division.
