Ali was a great teacher and a great friend. I am very happy that our paths intersected. Dirichlet L-functions, PNT, the Circle Method, Vinogradov, Brun, Rodney Dangerfield, things that I learned from Ali. So many memories to share, but not enough room to share. My condolences go to his family and to his friends. He will not be forgotten.
