More - Digital Is: Resources for Teaching Writing in the Digital Age

For years, the Maine Writing Project has been a leading proponent for technology to support literacy across the curriculum. Rural Voices Radio productions and digital storytelling have been principal initiatives for more than a decade.

Currently, the Maine Writing Project is an active partner in Digital Is, a National Writing Project initiative in conjunction with the John D and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation.  A number of Maine Writing Project teacher-consultants have contributed their work and the work of their students to this initiative.  The following Maine Writing Project teacher-consultants have contributed resources on digital writing and ideas for classroom technology integration at the Digital Is website.
