The Maine Studies program presents a multidisciplinary panel on Mt. Katahdin. The presentation was held at the Research Cafe, October 21, 2004, at 4:00 in the University Club (2nd floor of Fogler Library). Panelists include Richard Judd who talked about early-19th century climbs up Katahdin; Alice Kelley focused on the geological characteristics of the mountain; and Carol Dana, who talked about the relationship between the Penobscot people and the mountain.
