Resident students will most often dine in Hilltop, Wells Central and York, where they can enjoy unlimited access to all-you-care-to-eat menus. If their plan includes Dining Funds, those funds are also accessed via the MaineCard for convenience meals and snacks in places like The Marketplace, Oakes Room and campus markets.
Off-campus (commuter) students, faculty and staff may also participate in a Black Bear Meal Plan and can sign up at the MaineCard Service Center in Memorial Union. They will most often use Dining Funds for convenient, cash-free on-campus dining.

Dining Funds are not refundable, but will be transferred from Fall to Spring semester. Dining Funds expire at the end of the spring semester.
