Spring Break Trips 2013

Everglades Sea Kayaking
March 2 – 13, 2013
Member: $650 | Non-Member: $750

Escape the cold climate as we head down to Florida for an extended vacation sea kayaking in the Everglades National Park. This trip is designed to provide participants with an unforgettable way to explore the waterway, wildlife, and history of this unique park at.  The trip includes seven days of camping and paddling, driving from Maine to Florida, and all the experiences in between.  We will take time to explore the gulf coast as well as the extensive maze of mangroves that dominate the interior waterway of the park. The Everglades is home to amazing wildlife and you can be sure to spot dolphins, alligators, and tons of various species of wading birds; with possible sightings of sea turtles, manatees and more! This trip is an excellent choice for those wishing to explore the sport of sea kayaking, as well as getting away from the chilly Maine weather.

Red Rocks
March 5 – 14, 2013

Want to climb in the most beautiful place in Nevada?  We are going to Red Rocks Canyon National Conservation Area just west of Las Vegas, and climbing some of the most beautiful sandstone rock faces in North America. Our days at Red Rocks will be filled with adventures, including a hike into the crag, moderate multi-pitch climbs, and technical descents. Join us for a spring break experience you will talk about for the rest of your life!
