The National Information Management and Support System (NIMSS), a joint project of the four Regional Associations of State Agricultural Experiment Stations, serves as the official repository for all multistate research projects and activities. NIMSS is designed to facilitate the work of the Agricultural Experiment Station Director in managing the Station’s Multistate Research portfolio. It is a web-based system that allows participants in multistate research projects and activities to submit proposals and reports, authorize annual meetings, and approve new participants online. Stakeholders, cooperators and others can also query the System for relevant and timely information.
Faculty interested in participating in multistate projects or attending the annual meetings must enter participant information into the NIMSS database. This requires completion of an Appendix E – Participant form on the NIMSS Web site.
Click here for the link to the NIMSS web site. Instructions for entering multistate participant information into the NIMSS database is below.
