The risks and rewards of a connected life are the theme of the 2018 New Media Night, where New Media seniors present capstones that invite participation on the Internet and in the real world. Interactive installations and community engagement projects explore how global forces put new pressures on mental and physical health, from the effect of climate change on coral reefs and blueberry barrens, to cyberbullying on Instagram and fear in Virtual Reality, to economics in recycling programs on Earth and colonies on Mars.
