Learning Goals for Undergraduates - Anthropology
The Department of Anthropology strives to provide students with a well-rounded education about the human experience. To graduate with a B.A. in Anthropology, students will need to:
- Understand the intricacies and implications of cultural diversity in the past and present;
- Understand the important theoretical and methodological issues of the discipline;
- Have the ability to provide, integrate, analyze, and assess evidence as it applies to a larger theoretical framework (i.e. statistical, historical, ethnographic, archaeological, etc.); and
- Have the ability to think critically and communicate ideas effectively.
