Kennebec County Master Gardener Volunteer Program - Apply to become a Master Gardener Volunteer
Applications are closed for 2012. Contact us if you are interested in the fall 2013 course.
To become a University of Maine Master Gardener Volunteer, you must
- attend scheduled classes (you may miss no more than two classes);
- finish all quizzes and exams;
- attend two workshops /tours in the spring of 2012; and
- complete a minimum of 40 hours of volunteer work to become certified.
You may sign up for more than one volunteer project and volunteer more than 40 hours.
If you are accepted as a Master Gardener trainee, you must abide by all regulations and recommendations of the University of Maine Cooperative Extension. As a Master Gardener, you will be considered a volunteer representative of the University of Maine.
