‘Take-A-Chance’ Silent Auction at Maine 4-H Days in Windsor

WINDSOR, Maine — 4-H, the youth development program of University of Maine Cooperative Extension, will hold a Take-A-Chance silent auction Sunday, June 24 at Maine 4-H Days at the Windsor Fairgrounds. The auction opens at noon, with the drawings beginning at 2 p.m.

Tickets for the auction will be 25 for $5, 60 for $10 and 125 tickets for $20. Wrinkled or bent tickets will not be accepted. Dollar tickets will be sold for items valued at more than $100. UMaine Extension 4-H youth are collecting gift certificates, handmade items and products from local businesses. Donations are still being accepted. A food booth will be open during the auction.

Auction proceeds will help send 4 H youth and their animals to the Eastern States Exposition in West Springfield, Mass., where more than 100 4-Hers from Maine participate in animal and livestock events.
