I am a 3rd year International Affairs and Anthropology student from Bar Harbor, Maine. I was lucky enough to be able to do Semester At Sea last spring and go to 12 different countries in one semester. It was an absolutely incredible experience that has made me fall in love with study abroad and if anyone ever has the opportunity to do such a thing, don’t pass it up! The fact that you get to live on a full service cruise ship for a semester is just the tip of the iceberg!

I am a second year nursing student from Scarborough, Maine.I spent the fall 2012 semester studying abroad in Heredia, Costa Rica, and I wish I could still be there now. My time in Costa Rica turned out to be even more amazing than I had anticipated. I loved everything about the country, from the culture to the people to the geography. Now that I’ve started traveling, I never want to stop.

I am a fourth year with a double major in communications and Spanish from Fryeburg, ME. Studying abroad in Spain completely changed my life and helped me become fluent in the language by immersing myself completely in the culture. It is an amazing experience any one can do, is just a matter of going through the process! I cannot wait to go back and the memories I have from not only Spain but traveling throughout Europe will be with me forever. It is an great opportunity to become cultured, and see the world.
