Holiday Schedule - ChristmasDay

Christmas Day is a family holiday and will be observed on Wednesday, December 25, 2013.  Since classes are not in session, all administrative and academic offices may close.  All departments should permit employees to receive time off.  However, where continuous operation is required, schedules should be arranged to allow as many employees as possible to receive these days off.

All hourly employees will be given holiday pay equal to the regularly scheduled hours for this day.  In addition to holiday pay, hourly employees who are required to work will be compensated at 1 ½ times the hourly rate for the number of hours worked.

In addition to the family holiday the Chancellor has declared an administrative holiday to begin 12:00 p.m. (noon) Tuesday, December 24, 2013 through 12:00 a.m. (midnight) Tuesday, December 24, 2013.  The following conditions apply to the administrative holiday:
