- Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year) begins at sundown on September 4, 2013 and continues through sundown on September 6, 2013.
- Yom Kippur (Jewish, The Day of Atonement) begins at sundown on September 13, 2013 and concludes at sundown September 14, 2013.
- Ramadan (Islamic, month-long fast) starts at sundown on July 9, 2013 and concludes with the start of the three day holiday of Eid al-Fitr on August 8, 2013.
- Eid al-adha, (a four-day Islamic holiday) starts October 15, 2013.
