How long can I have a temporary employee?
That will depend if the temporary position is hourly, salaried, represented or non-represented. Six months is the general maximum length for temporary appointments. Please contact your Human Resource Officer for more information.
What do I do with a grievance that has just been given to me?

How can I create a new account number for our department?
For example: first hourly temp ever hired. Call Budget and Business Services and they will assist you.
Does a temp salaried employee have to sign their contract before we receive it in HR?
Yes, signature is required.
