Purpose:

The purpose of the Legal & Policy Issues I: Sexual Harassment module is to provide participant with an overview of the legal and policy implications of sexual harassment law.

Learning Objectives:

As a result of participating in this module, supervisors will:

• Gain an understanding of the law and UMaine’s policy as it applies to sexual harassment in the workplace.
• Understand the role of the supervisor in harassment situations.
• Understand UMaine’s internal complaint procedure.
