Housing Information for Current Students

FALL ROOM ASSIGNMENTS AVAILABLE ONLINE MAY 16, 2013

Beginning May 16, 2013, all students assigned for fall may view room assignments by logging in to myHousing (at right) with a MaineStreet logon and password and clicking on the “check my assignment” button. If the button is not visible when logging in, it means a room has not yet been assigned. As the assignment process is ongoing, students who have not yet been assigned are advised to check again every few days.

Roommate and room change requests are not accepted at this time due to space limitations.

Limited space is still available for eligible returning students (Junior status for Fall 2013 or above) in upperclass suite-style housing. For information on upperclass suite-style housing, please click on Residence Halls (at right) and then click “On-Campus Apartments”. We will continue to assign returning students who are not eligible for suite-style housing as space becomes available through cancellations.  Assignments are made based on date of application. Please note that on-campus housing is not guaranteed.

SINGLE ROOMS

There are no single rooms available. We will continue to assign students on the Singles Waitlist as space becomes available; however, a single room assignment is not guaranteed. We are unable to accept requests to be place on the Singles Waitlist at this time.

DTAV/PATCH (Upperclass Suite-style housing) APPLICATION PROCESS

If you are eligible for DTAV/Patch suite-style housing, please submit a housing application online (if you have not done so) and sign and return the Living in the Village Agreement available below. Return the LVA either by fax to 207-581-3663 or by scanning it as a jpg or pdf and attaching it to an e-mail addressed to um.housing@maine.edu. Indicate on the Living in the Village Agreement if you prefer to be assigned to a single bedroom within a suite (limited singles are available and are not guaranteed). Also, please indicate on the LVA your meal plan preference if it is different from what you submit on your housing application.
