Tortoise Beetle

Tortoise Beetles (University of New Hampshire) These beetles are rarely found in high numbers in home gardens; feeding is primarily cosmetic, and you’ll find them on morning glory plants and on crops such as potatoes, tomatoes, beans and peppers (various plants in the Convolvulaceae and Solanaceae families).
