Where to Donate

The Maine Department of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources maintains a list of food assistance programs in Maine by county/town. Check their web page to find a food pantry or soup kitchen near you.

Before Donating

Connect with the organization to find out

• what they will accept,
• how much or how little they can use at one time,
• the days and hours that you can deliver to them, and
• the condition of the crop they prefer: washed, trimmed, etc.
