Policies & Regulations - Resident’s Guide to Campus Living
We’re glad you’re here. Living on campus is a tremendous experience and Residence Life is here to make it the best it can be!
Our department connects with other departments on campus, including Housing Services, the Honors College, the various academic colleges, Public Safety, the Counseling Center, Career Center, Campus Recreation, Greek Life, Campus Activities, Office of First and Second Year Programs and many more. These offices provide great opportunities for involvement. Explore all your options, discover your potential and create your own dreams!
Living-learning opportunities are a unique and wonderful part of the residence hall experience. There are a number of Living Learning Communities that host academic or social programs designed by students for student communities. Click on the Living Learning Communities link and check out the opportunities open to you.
In all 19 of the residence halls we promote community. As a student living in the residence hall, the Residence Life staff will help you to build relationships with faculty, staff and student organizations. These connections will help you enjoy your UMaine experience.
